芬兰民族音乐巨匠让·西贝柳斯在他的祖国备受尊崇，每年夏季八月底，在西贝柳斯的故乡拉赫蒂，都会举行盛大的西贝柳斯音乐节。

Jean Sibelius, Finland’s great national composer, is held in deep esteem in his home country. Every year in late August, the Sibelius Festival brings a major celebration to Lahti, the city closely associated with his legacy.

音乐节的起步，缘于一座优秀音乐厅的诞生。2000年，在维西耶尔维湖湖畔，由旧厂房改造扩建而成的西贝柳斯音乐厅落成，新旧建筑融合，主体大厅以芬兰松木为内壁，1250 座，凭借天然木材质获得优异的声学效果，是现代木构音乐厅的标杆作品。

The festival began with the arrival of an exceptional concert hall. Completed in 2000 on the shore of Lake Vesijärvi, Sibelius Hall grew out of a transformed former factory. Its main 1,250-seat auditorium is lined with Finnish pine; the natural wood gives it remarkable acoustics and has made it a benchmark for contemporary timber concert-hall design.

西贝柳斯音乐节和音乐厅同步开启，堪称盛事。当年拉赫蒂交响乐团的首席指挥奥斯莫·万斯卡一手把乐团和音乐节带到欧洲顶级水准。音乐节的曲目聚焦西贝柳斯，是少见的以单一作曲家为核心的大型国际音乐节。

The opening of the hall and festival was a landmark moment. Osmo Vänskä, then chief conductor of the Lahti Symphony Orchestra, led both orchestra and festival to a leading European level. With Sibelius at the heart of its programming, it remains one of the rare major international festivals centred on a single composer.

2025年起，指挥大师哈努·林图上任西贝柳斯音乐节总监，并担任拉赫蒂交响乐团同年开始设立的独特职位“艺术伙伴”（乐团不再设首席指挥），推出了全新理念“邂逅”（Encounters），把西贝柳斯放回同时代欧洲音乐的上下文之中，音乐会曲目中并列演出西贝柳斯和理查・施特劳斯、布索尼、贝尔格、拉赫玛尼诺夫等人的作品。

From 2025, conductor Hannu Lintu became the festival’s artistic director and the Lahti Symphony Orchestra’s new “Artistic Partner”, a distinctive role that replaced the orchestra’s chief-conductor post. His new Encounters concept returns Sibelius to the wider context of European music in his time, placing his works beside those of Richard Strauss, Busoni, Berg and Rachmaninoff.

2026年西贝柳斯音乐节在8月27日开幕，这也是中国小提琴家陈家怡担任乐队首席之后，和乐团的首次合作。《乐来乐缘》往期节目“留欧四年，我成了芬兰乐团首席”曾邀请她畅谈考取该团首席的有趣经历。

The 2026 Sibelius Festival opened on 27 August. It also marked Chinese violinist Jiayi Chen’s first collaboration with the orchestra since becoming its concertmaster. In an earlier Melody’s Rendezvous programme, “Four Years in Europe: How I Became Concertmaster of a Finnish Orchestra”, she spoke about the experience of winning the position.

钢琴家张斯悦是陈家怡的二重奏合作伙伴，两人组成的“Jiayi-April”二重奏组在欧洲屡次获得大奖。此次她陪伴陈家怡一同参加西贝柳斯音乐节，观摩演出，对艺术节进行了深入的观察，收获丰厚。

Pianist April Siyue Zhang is Chen’s duo partner. Together, the Jiayi–April Duo has received numerous prizes in Europe. Accompanying Chen at the Sibelius Festival, Zhang attended performances and observed the festival closely, returning with a wealth of impressions.

张斯悦长期在维也纳学习和演奏，在她自己的视频号“四月出生在夏天”中分享音乐心得，观点独到，颇受欢迎。芬兰拉赫蒂之行，也让她对于欧洲古典音乐生态有了更深的感悟。

Zhang has studied and performed in Vienna for many years. On her own video channel, “April Born in Summer”, she shares distinctive and widely followed musical reflections. Her time in Lahti also gave her a deeper sense of Europe’s classical-music ecosystem.

9月17日周四晚20点，上海人民广播电台「经典947」出品的《乐来乐缘》，有幸邀请到远在维也纳的张斯悦连线，来分享她对于西贝柳斯音乐节的观察，以及她作为一位音乐家和视频主播，对于欧洲音乐生活的思考。

On Thursday 17 September at 20:00, Melody’s Rendezvous—produced by Shanghai People’s Radio Classical 947—connected with Zhang in Vienna to hear her observations on the Sibelius Festival and her thoughts on musical life in Europe, as both a musician and a video creator.
