April Siyue Zhang is a pianist based in Vienna, actively expanding her artistic presence through chamber music and collaborative piano. She values the connections and insights that come from making music with others and is continually exploring new artistic directions, seeking opportunities to share her voice on stage.

Currently, April is advancing her chamber music studies at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna (mdw), under the mentorship of Professors Avedis Kouyoumdjian and Johannes Meissl. She previously studied Piano Performance and Collaboration at the Shanghai Conservatory of Music under Professor Zhe Tang and completed her secondary education at the Xinghai Conservatory of Music Affiliated Secondary School under Professor Jingsong Xian.

April has been invited to collaborate at several prestigious competitions, including the Queen Elisabeth International Violin Competition in Brussels and the Princess Astrid International Violin Competition in Trondheim in 2024. She also served as a collaborative pianist at the Jugend Music Summer Festival in Hangzhou, China. In 2021, she received the Outstanding Piano Accompanist Award at the World Peace Choral Festival and the Best Accompanist Award at the Hummingbird Music Awards.

April has performed at renowned music festivals worldwide, including the 2024 European Chamber Music Academy (ECMA), the 2023 University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna Summer Music Festival, the 2019 North Shore International Piano Festival, and the 2018 Mariinsky Music Festival.
